Spads. Spads are Simple Plastic Aircraft Designs. they generally tend to be made from Correx and other plastic materials which are not only cheap (estate agent signs are very cheap) but also very robust. They can be used for combat, Fun Fly, or just general modelling. SNMFC has been using some Spads for combat this year and were visited by Mainly models at their first full Spad combat competition. Competition involves having a streamer training behind each aircraft and trying to cut each others streamers.
Results can be impressive (see the 4th Pic)
