The SNMFC one model comp is held every year and has always been well supported.

All equipment is supplied and all are encouraged to have a go from beginners to the rather more experienced. 

The two channel Delta glider is made from Correx and conduit, it is loaded on top of a Wot4 with a cradle mounted on it and the whole assembly lumbers its way into the air, once a respectable (great) height is reached the glider is released and the pilot has to glide the glider back down to a spot landing, certain manoeuvres are required on the way down like rolls, split S's and loops. Points are deducted for each part not completed and for distance from landing target.
